Day 7 of Tokyo Fashion Week I was running on fumes of adrenaline. Shows, writing, DJing, business meetings, and filming a documentary made sure of it. Of course, the red Mercedes Benz CLS car I was traipsing around in was running on pure AWESOME. Check out the ride! If it weren’t for the car I could not have made it to as many shows or been able to wear some of my outfits due to logistics and only having two arms to carry stuff. Speeding down the highway from Somarta’s show up north and making it just in time back to Hikarie to see 1 piu 1 uguale 3’s show at night on Thursday was a highlight. The theme for today was “BOUNCING the haters with bunnies” (アンチを跳ね飛ばすうさぴょん). In Japan, cutting up apple slices with bunny ears is very common and called “usa-ringo”. So I had the Mintdesigns bunny target print on my chintz-treated dress and a bunny apple hat made of straw from Tokyo Wani Department Store on my head as weapons. BOUNCE!
