Dresscamp has NO apologies for being over-the-top and you shouldn’t worry your pretty little heads if you don’t understand it. In fact, this show-off attitude is so rare in Tokyo, one might wonder which planet the brand thinks its operating from. But its frills and sparkles are beloved by many and is a huge hit with the celebrity circuit. This collection is the second in the comeback of the brand’s original designer Toshikazu Iwaya and we see his true colors come out: cheetah and lots of magenta. It was a garden jungle here, with an overgrowth of flora that started to take 3D shape in the form of frills and rosettes in abundance. They were like giant flowers you might find in the Amazon… the girl looks pretty, but watch out because she may actually be a venus fly trap underneath all those petals. The Dresscamp girl is no timid rose, after all.
