天才派のヘッドアーティストによるアクセブランドデビュー！Kunio Kohzaki PINS
この仕事での最大の楽しみ、かつ喜びを感じる瞬間のひとつは、”根っからのアーティスト”に出逢ったときだったりする。彼らは想像を軽々と超えてくる。作り出すものはもちろんだけど、その行動や発言すべてがおもしろくて、興味が湧き、引き込まれる。その一人はヘアとヘッドアーティストのKUNIO KOHZAKI.
“感性が豊か”。ありふれた表現だけど、本当にこの言葉がぴったりで、あるものを見たとき、考えたとき、彼のなかには多分普通の人の何倍もの世界が広がってる。

One of the most satisfying things about my job is feeding off of the genius of the artists around me. Be they in clothing, photography, events, art, makeup, even modeling… it is a sickeningly satisfying experience that cannot be understood unless you’re one who seeks it too, like a wee bit of a creative high.
One of the artists who makes that sweet buzz is hair/head piece artist Kunio Kohzaki. His magazine and catalog work is incredibly fun to look at, and this article from my blog a few years back when I was just a starry-eyed fan, is a great intro to his huge body of work.
東京だけでなくロンドン、ニューヨーク、韓国でキャリアを積んで今、満を持して凱旋帰国した彼は新たなステップへ突入した。KUNIO KHOZAKI PINSというヘアアクセサリブランドを立ち上げたのだ。
ヘアアーティストの相棒ヘアピンを使って作られたもので、シンプルな形の各プロダクトを組み合わせることでオリジナルの形を作って消費者がそれぞれ自由に楽しめる作りになっている。
色はゴールド、レッド、ネイビーの三色展開。
ヘアアーティストとしてファッション向けにヘッドピースを作ってきた彼がたどり着いた、一般の人にも広く見てもらえる彼の作品こそ、このピン。
渋谷のCANDYでやった彼のエキシビジョンの装飾もすごくクール！さすが。
He’s worked not only in Tokyo, but also London, NYC and Korea as it boomed into the budding fashion capital it’s becoming today, thanks to his witty and sharp hair styling for their most premier magazines. After all of this, he has taken the leap into a new arena, by starting his own brands of hair accessories, Kunio Kohzaki PINS.
They are made from lining up tiny little bobby pins in gold, navy and red, in small shapes that can be used together to create bigger pieces.
実は、そんな、ミーシャも絶対の信頼を寄せるくにおさんと最近一緒にお仕事をする機会がありました。
ズバリそれは、”カワイイモンスターカフェ”。
事前に公開されたAMIAYAのティーザーも、カフェにいるモンスターガール達のヘアも、彼が手がけたよ！
出来上がる前から、どんなものを作り上げてくれるのだろうとすごく楽しみだったけど、出来上がったものを見たら、またもや想像を軽々と超えられた。やられたー。
かわいくてクレイジーでクールでショッキングなモンスター級のヘッドピースにも、是非注目してください。
こういう嬉しい衝撃をくれる仲間が周りにたくさんいるから、やっぱりこの仕事をしていて幸せだなと感じる。
I actually had the chance recently to work with Kunio on something really fun where I knew he could flex his super creative muscles. That’s the teaser film featuring AMIAYA and the 5 monster girls in the Kawaii Monster Cafe. I was so excited to see what he came up with, I almsot ripped the heads off of my original sketches just so I could see how far he would go without any prompt. He certainly did deliver!! Yes, it’s definitely a sick thing to chase this creative high, but I`m still riding it– you can too with Kunio Kohzaki PINS.

コレクションはボビーピンを大量に重ねた上でデザインされ、日本の職人さんによって完成されているらしい。クールでモードなヘッドピースの代わりのちょっとしたかざい！ミーシャはヘアのみならず、帽子につけてみたり、楽しく愛用しています！
His accessories are created by lining up oodles of bobbypins, and employing Japanese artisans to work their magic and finish them in fanatic quality. They are a cool and slick choice for a hair piece, and I personally have been having fun with a red bow in more than just my hair!
