Takahiro Miyashita’s new project The Soloist opened a pop-up shop on the 17th in NYC at Nepenthes’ GroceryStore.Here are photos from the party. (Nepenthes) This reminds me when I went to a party at the still-running (N)umber(N)ine store in New York, and I was looking forward to meeting the designer. “Where is he?” I asked. “He’s right outside.” “I don’t see him!” “He’s there.” “No he’s..! Oh….” And there he was slumped in a drunken slumber in a chair as his party raged on two feet away. I don’t think this counts as having actually met him.
Louis Vuitton’s Espace penthouse gallery at the Omotesando boutique has began their new “Cosmic Travelers – Toward the Unknown” exhibit.(Fashionsnap) I haven’t been yet, but the first one was pretty fun so need to check it out. It features 5 Japanese artists under one “cosmic” theme.
