シャネル大量に扱う、東京一のビンテージ ラグジュアリー店を目指す Qoo (クー)！
There are no shortage of vintage luxury shops in Tokyo. So what makes Qoo so special that it has become one of the most popular destinations in just under two years?

Qoo is a vintage luxury shop located just behind Omotesando, in an apartment building sandwiched between CARVEN and Isabel Marant. It’s unassuming, and hidden away on the 5th floor, marked only by a little sign on the #515 wooden door.
Inside is a step through time, with lush carpeting, pink walls and ceiling, and girls perfectly dressed and coiffed, like pinups from the 30s. Gently used luxury bags coat the walls like vines and an appropriate soundtrack of classic favorites pumps through the speakers.
What makes Qoo different from the others? Owner Junna Mori offers her opinion: “Most vintage shops will shut down for a week and go overseas and buy up a bunch of stuff at once. That costs money and time and is very limiting.” At Qoo, they have streamlined a system where Junna can buy or large swaths of goods at once while staying in Tokyo. “We are always getting new things, and we put out new items every single day”
All of the new items are uploaded to Qoo’s instagram account, where they take email inquiries in Japanese, English, and Chinese. “We are getting a lot more customers from China, so I have staff here who speak Chinese. I’m really lucky because all of my staff speak English well or are their way to.”
The one thing that you’ll notice with Qoo is the incredible selection of Chanel bags. “Chanel is my favorite brand,” explains Junna. You could get enough Chanel quilted bags to last you an entire year here, no joke. Look out for the backpacks, which are seeing a revival.
Qoo’s popularity is also attributed to the support of celebrities and bloggers, making it a word of mouth destination. Just hours after I was there Kiko Mizuhara showed up with her sister Yuka to shop.
I picked up an old gold Chanel bracelet with a medallion charm etched with the Rue Cambon shop facade on it, and a gold Celine belt. I have my eye on that Coco Chanel tote bag at the top as well, although I have no idea what to carry in it (haha).
With the quick turnaround, I suggest following the instagram ( @vintageqoo) and if you like a piece, better act on it quickly.
