The cold weather in Paris kind of sent me into a mini tailspin of shock, not unlike jet lag (which I didn’t experience because I didn’t sleep much anyway). It took a few days for me to get used to it, and on the 5the day God gave us sun and it was good. I pulled out this dress Which is the newest from Tomo Koizumi. He told me it was inspired by Bjork’s new album “biophilia” so it’s a mix of biological-esque seams, lines and colors, mixed with cosmic decorations like the bijoux. I was SO self conscious about the length, but I suppose I managed not to flash the crowd (I did wear a skirt underneath just in case).

The politics of the night club might be lost on Japanese who have never gone abroad. After all, in Tokyo one never needs to deal with aneurism-inducing club bouncers or velvet ropes to get in. All you need to do is pay the (astronomical) cover charge and not be a naked antelope. I don’t like dealing with the “wait” not even knowing if you’re going to get in at *all* unless you’re Lindsey fraking Lohan. So when I got the RSVP for the VIvienne Westwood after party at SILENCIO I was in. Being on the “list” means you’re golden. And SILENCIO, produced by David Lynch (my homeboy since we we are both from Spokane,WA. Whaddup.), is one of the most difficult to get into.
