人気”it”ガールのオリヴィアパレルモ来日、フルラがモッズなジェリー系 Candybag バッグを発表
There are two types of women in the world: those who match their bags to their outfits daily
And then the other type, who has one bag every season and uses it every day until the bag really just wants to run away from the abuse.
Which type are you?

I`m a sadistic-level abuser. I’ve been using this Furla bag all season since it’s the perfect fusion of practicality and “it”-ness… it’s a **backpack** but doesn’t look like one, and can still hold everything. It has been through many adventures and has been featured with me from street snaps in New York Times to Tokyo’s Street magazine. What a lucky biatch.
I always thought I was the type to change bags everyday (I guess I have enough of them for that). But you know what?? I have a LOT OF THINGS. And if I change bags everyday I WILL forget something. I need my camera, tissues, makeup, lotion, business cards, perfume….the works (antibacterial lotion, an extra iphone battery, expandable flats, gloves, pens, notebook…and someone save me from drowning in those point cards +_+) . So soon it’s going to be time to find another bag when this one decides to jump ship.
Furla presented their new upcoming SS bags last night in Tokyo with a HUGE bash titled “Up in the Sky”. They brought superstar socialite Olivia Palermo from “The City” who is like the living incarnation of Blair Waldorf of Gossip Girl (it girl, it boyfriend), but actually was super kind and professional and not at all like her famous character she played (as an aside: Japanese people are often shocked to find Blair and not Serena is the most popular character. Hah.).
The big news? Furla is more popular in Japan than it is in Italy. Number 1! Number 1! So we get a big party for it~ It’s not usual that a brand will have such a huge party just for a new collection…
My friend, model Sayo Yoshida, is such a babe モデル友達の吉田さよは超美人。ビューティー系がおおいが、ファッションをもっとやりたい！って。みなさん、よろしく！
Flower artist, THE Nicolai Bergmann. ..who is a lot younger and handsome than I envisioned! あの有名なフラワーアーティスト、ニコライバーグマンさん！いや、想像とちがって、すごくヤングでハンサム！
Lifestyle bloggers, the Homma sisters
The caterer was Ayako Suwa of foodcreation who made some really interesting finger foods. This is prociutto in a MACARON. I think some will cry “sacrilege!” But don’t knock it til you try it…. It’s like salt caramels but…you know, meat… and sugar.
Check out the collection below and then don’t forget to see my video made with Furla for the Candybags! I can’t wait to show this off in Milan in February during fashion week♪

I call this the Madmen collection…very 1960s chic… and reminds me of retro airplanes and lounges, like a jet-set woman in the 60s. The theme is “Up in the Sky” after all.
I LOVED the silver neutral bags so I can carry them every day but pretend that I don’t do that (haha). These new Candybags really show that the PVC jelly trend can evolve and not die off. Yes, we’re still really into plastic, especially since it can last as long as fabric now. Do you have a favorite?
