If you haven’t heard it already then here it is again: I am producing the world’s first “fashion brand” collection of wigs called “Plumb”. No, I`m not “producer” or just lending my name… I am CEO, designer,
PR…everything! Which is why you might not see me out and about as much recently…I`m a bonafide going crazy girl!
Anyway, there are a lot of Plumb-related events coming up which I am getting ready for (the Tokyo Vansankai collaboration and exhibit has already been announced for Aug 3-12th at the newly opening lounge IDOL), but before all that, I want to share these photos that I just finished up.
Harajuku fashion icon Momo wore a couple Plumb wigs and modeled them for me! I wanted to try out an idea I had for art direction and this was the perfect opportunity with Momo’s sweet and salty attitude.
Momo has been one of my favorite Harajuku chicolitas for a few years now, and she has been getting tons of attention lately as chief fashionista of the uber-popular tights shop Avantgarde in ura-hara (go say `hi` if you’re in the area!). Momo also blogs at Elle girl Japan and her personal blog, and lends her great sense of style to a lot of Tokyo fashion events.

Level Up! Rei Kawakubo!
All wigs are handmade, come in really cool custom hat boxes that you can re-use and are limited edition.
You can get Plumb online and see more at Plumb-World.com !
Also, I have a question for everyone; would you rather have Plumb wigs in a shop permanently, or would you rather I do limited trunk shows for a few days at a time? For the former you could go to a shop and
try them on (in Tokyo), but for the latter I would personally be at the trunk show, I could travel around the country (Japan, for now), and maybe even bring a hair dresser to cut the wigs for you right there. Please vote below!
